Midtown Brews Program Format

Thank you for your offer to help lead a monthly Midtown Brews conversation.


Our loose agenda:

  • 5:30PM   People arrive to network, nibble/graze, have a beverage/beer
  • 6:00PM   Welcome by the Midtown Brews technology company host
  • 6:05PM   Introduction by I-Open
  • 6:10PM   Meet The Bloggers opens the conversation and guests present about 10 minutes of information followed by
  • Conversation prompted by audience questions, comments with moderated chat questions, comments, streamlined in to the Live Conversation
  • 7:00PM   Wrap up and next steps shared with Meet The Bloggers and I-Open

Midtown Brews is a guided, conversational approach that is open - meaning that anyone can participate, and people are encouraged to participate. Discussion is generated from the exchange of new and relevant information, and inquiry in the form of appreciative questions and commentary. We hope to blur all boundaries between speakers, guests, and participants.


Helpful tips:

  • Please plan to arrive sometime between 5:30 and 6:00PM.
  • Look for the information page for this month's Midtown Brews posted on the right side bar of this web space that includes logistics.
  • The program is a Live Broadcast Show on the Midtown Brews Channel. Following the close of the conversation, the Live Show is  subsequently available as On-Demand on the Midtown Brews Channel. Live conversations include moderated chat comments and questions submitted from others watching the show on the Internet.
  • Meet The Bloggers guides conversations hosted at urban technology companies.
  • We do not encourage PPT presentations; hand out materials are welcomed at the program.
  • Post relevant information to the Midtown Brews News tab and become an active Member of the online community to share information, build your networks and gain new knowledge.
