Garry Regan on energy costs

Recent record coal prices, and today's WSJ article on nuclear costs, currently make City of Cleveland look smart (economics) in power plant decision. We know there are other factors and situation will change considerably over years, but "folks" can neither bet or wish on the future. If solar, or wind do not develop large scale how will City (folks) pay for electricity at 2X today. Even my favorite NG at ½ the BTU cost of coal and oil is getting pricey. Alternatives may be a must, but they are not here yet, and costs are not in.
